Bangalore University Convocation on January 19, 2008
Bangalore University will hold its 43rd annual convocation on January 19. The list of awardees (gold medal and rank holders) are kept at the counter in the office of the registrar (evaluation), Natural Science Block, Central College campus. Students interested in verifying the list can do so from January 10 to 16 between 11 am and 4 pm on all working days. If there are objections, they must be brought to the notice of the registrar (evaluation), by January 16, a press release said. All awardees have been intimated by post to collect the invitation and passes for the convocation from January 14 to 17 between 11 am and 4 pm on all working days. They’ve to collect them from the office of the registrar (evaluation), room No. 205, 1st Floor, Natural Science Block, Central College campus.Labels: Bangalore University, Results

I am very much interested to attend this Convocation, but i have no Invititation/Pass. I'm graduated this year. Is there any other means to participate? I secured 70.30% Overall (3yrs of Bcom)
My father have passed SSIT Tumkur in 1988.But he has not collected his degree due to lack of communication.Now, he wants to collect his degree.Please tell me the procedure!
His enrollment number is E83IA015.

Your father can collect the Degree Certificate even now. It is not a problem. First he needs to apply for the certificate in a priscribed form, through SSIT Tumkur or Bangalore University / VTU directly. (We think the Bangalore University will give the degree certificate to your father as there was no VTU 1988.)

I have passed out My MCA in 2004.
Applied for convoaction about 1.5-2 yrs back
still i did't recieved my convocation. iam in contact with my College Administrtor officer. in jan 19 i know there was convocation and he said he is expecting all convocation by month end(jan).
now he is telling that all the convocations have to verify and it takes 1 more month (end of feb).
Problem is i Filing for H1 visa. last date is in march.
i want my convocation with in a week, what should i have to do.

Dear Anonymous who passed MCA,
There are three ways to get your degree certificates:
1 - Plead with your college administrator / Principal and explain your problem, they should be able to help you.
2 - Go to University directly, Talk to the Vice Chancellor / Registrar (exams). They should be able to expedite your case.
3 - If this doesn't work out write to services@educationbangalore.com giving full details about your Name, Admission No., Colleges, Year of Passing, Your contact No. Etc...

I talked to my college, they are taking much time, not even accepting calls some times.
As i am in other city i could't meet vice chancellor/Registrar(exams).
And the MAIL-ID services@educationbangalore.com is not working.

I talked with my college administrator officer. he said that he received only 2003 batch convocations. for 2004 batch convocation it may take more 15 days.

I was not in town during the convocation. I came across this news today, and would like to know from where do I need to collect the convocation certificate and the gold medal that I have won in Mass communication?

I finished my degree in 1999 & could not obtain my convocation certificate, since now i have applied for PF i am in desperate need of the convocation.
Please advice me as how can i get my certicate at the earliest.

I have passed BSC in the year April 2000. However, was unable to apply for the degree certifcate as there was some discrepancy in the name on the marks sheet. I have got that corrected, however, haven't applied for Degree certificate since then. Can i get the certificate directly from the university now or i have to do it via my college and wait for the convocation applications to be released. I need the degree certificate urgently..I am willing to shell out additional fees to get this done. Can you suggest how fast can one secure the certifcate?
