Law Entrance CLAT - 2008 RANKS and Results Announced
The results of CLAT-2008, the Common Law Admission Test for all National Law schools across India, was announced on May 19, 2008 evening on the website –
http://www.clat.ac.in. And Ranks have also been alloted on May 22, 2008. 12th and 10th standard marks are being used as tie-breaker in case of rank ties.

CET results put off
The Karnataka Examination Authority's CET 2008 results will be postponed due to the delay in the announcement of CBSE and ICSE results. The CET results were scheduled to be announced on May 14. "The results of ICSE and CBSE have not been announced yet. The KEA will wait until May 25 for these results. If these results are not received even after that, we will announce the CET results," said SG Hegde, Director, KEA.

Bangalore University Convocation on January 19, 2008
Bangalore University will hold its 43rd annual convocation on January 19. The list of awardees (gold medal and rank holders) are kept at the counter in the office of the registrar (evaluation), Natural Science Block, Central College campus. Students interested in verifying the list can do so from January 10 to 16 between 11 am and 4 pm on all working days. If there are objections, they must be brought to the notice of the registrar (evaluation), by January 16, a press release said. All awardees have been intimated by post to collect the invitation and passes for the convocation from January 14 to 17 between 11 am and 4 pm on all working days. They’ve to collect them from the office of the registrar (evaluation), room No. 205, 1st Floor, Natural Science Block, Central College campus.

CAT 2007 Results Out. But, Online Results Failed!
CAT 2007 Results are out on 8-1-2008. But, most of the candidates failed to get the results online as the
http://www.catiim.in/ website crashed due to overload. And the IVR system did not work. However many could find their percentage of marks via Mobile SMS.

http://www.catiim.in/ on the 8th of January from 3 PM onwards. The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and either the date of birth (preferred) or the cat application number.
Group Discussion and InterviewsThe IIMs that have short listed the candidate for group discussion and interviews (if so) will also be displayed automatically. However, the details of the date and venue will be available by post as well as on the individual IIMs web sites (after a couple of days).
Results on MobileThe scores can also be obtained telephonically through the IVRS or by sending an SMS to 57333. To access the results through SMS, the candidate should send an SMS to 57333 as follows: 'CAT registration number date of birth (dd/mm/yy)' or 'CAT space registration number application number" Example: CAT 5370082 030482.
All these will be available from 3 PM on the 8th of January 2008
